Welcome to the 2024 Sanford Sports Softball Fall Tee Ball, Pitching Machine, and Youth League Registration!

This registration will allow you to provide contact information, sign consents and submit payment for all programs hosted by Sanford Sports Softball Academy.  Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover information available.

Youth Fall League 

Girls the ages of 9-14 years old will be eligible to compete in our Youth Fall League. The league will take place over the course of 6 weeks starting September 5th and ending October 13th. The overall goal of this league is to learn and develop the skills and knowledge of softball. 

 9u-14u divisions only

• League will meet Thursday's for practice
• Games will be played on Sunday (2 games per team)
• Teams will be put together by grade level and by school if possible.
• Teams will switch hitting/fielding when there are 5 runs scored or 3 outs. 
• Games will be 75 minutes drop dead. We will not finish innings. 
• each participant will get a t-shirt with a number on the back to wear for games. 
• There will be one paid umpire.
• Sanford Sports Academy Staff  will act as coaches for each team & game. 
• If there is inclement weather and games have to be cancelled, there will be a make-up date of October 20th. 
• Cost of this league is $200 + tax  per player 
• Participant will need bat, glove, helmet, and closed toed shoes (tennis shoes preferred). 
  • gloves, bats, and helmets will be provided if participant does not have it.

Pitching Machine League Details

Girls the ages of 7-8 years old will be eligible to compete in our pitching machine league. The league will take place over the course of 6 weeks starting September 2nd and ending October 12th. The overall goal of this league is to learn the basic fundamentals of hitting and fielding. We want each participant to learn the game of softball and have fun!

 7u/8u divisions only

• League will meet Monday's for practice
• Game will be played on Saturday (1 game per team)
• Teams will be put together by grade level and by school if possible.
• Teams will switch hitting/fielding when there are 5 runs scored or 7 batters appear per half inning. 
• Batters will get 3 strikes off the machine. If batter does not make contact, coach will come out a pitch ball to batter.
• Games will be 65 minutes drop dead. We will not finish innings. 
• Outs can be recorded like in a regular softball game. If a ball hits the machine, the batter will be granted first base. 
• each participant will get a t-shirt with a number on the back to wear for games. 
• There will be no paid umpires. Sanford Sports Academy Staff will facilitate as umpires & act as coaches for each team & game. 
• If there is inclement weather and games have to be cancelled, there will be a make-up date of October October 19th. 
• Cost of this league is $150 + tax  per player 
• Participant will need bat, glove, helmet, and closed toed shoes (tennis shoes preferred). 
  • gloves, bats, and helmets will be provided if participant does not have it.

Tee Ball League Details

Girls the ages of 5-6 years old will be eligible to compete in our Tee Ball league. The league will take place over the course of 6 weeks starting September 2nd and ending October 8th. The overall goal of this league is to learn the basic fundamentals of hitting and fielding. We want each participant to learn the game of softball and have fun!

 5u/6u divisions only

• League will meet Tuesday's for practice
• Games will be played on Saturday 1 game per team
• Teams will switch hitting/fielding when there are 5 runs scored or 7 batters appear per half inning. 
• Games will be 60 minutes drop dead. We will not finish innings. 
• Outs can be recorded like in a regular softball game. 
• each participant will get a t-shirt with a number on the back to wear for games. 
• There will be no paid umpires.  Sanford Sports Academy Staff will facilitate as umpires & act as coaches for each team & game. 
• If there is inclement weather and games have to be cancelled, there will be a make-up date of October 19th. 
• Cost of this league is $120 + tax  per player 
• Participant will need bat, glove, helmet, and closed toed shoes (tennis shoes preferred).
